Today I turn 28. Today I reflect on my life. Today is my New Year. For those who know me well, I have a need for order and a compulsive nature to start new things at the beginning of a month, a week, year, etc. This allows me to justify my procrastination. As we quickly move into the busy holiday time of year, I think about all I am thankful for, and realize how easy it would be for me to wait out the next month and a half and to make New Year's resolutions with everyone else. Well, I am not waiting for that "beginning". Today is the start of my 28th year of life and I choose for today to be the start. A start of me following my heart and returning to my motto of life, "Free to Be Me." A start of re-opening my heart to the faith that I was taught, so I can start living in it and teaching it to my kids. A start for my "business" TBux Creations (you know you want one :) ). And finally, a start of me becoming a part of the Blogging world. LOL.
Today I choose to push forward and focus on the positives in my life. Lord knows I have wasted countless days having pity parties and being bitterly upset about my life not being exactly as I would have hoped. And hey, I am human, so those sure won't be the last. I am embracing the excitement of my New Year and this blog is a way for me to invite all my wonderful family and friends to be a part of it. Stay tuned as I do enjoy writing and look forward to sharing my adventures with you, especially since I am sure that some of you are may be curious about the title of my blog. :)
