Amazing Grace

We have some excellent musical talent in my family. My Dad has a wonderful singing voice. I have a many memories with the 'background' music being his voice singing the hymns from church. My sister also has a naturally beautiful voice. She could try out for American Idol. And not because I am mean and say her voice is good when it really isn't and then she believes it and goes and tries out and belts out off tune music but still believes it is perfect. I feel sorry for those people. But No, she is really good.

With my love for music, I obviously love to sing as well. I'm not a great singer, but I'm not bad either. I sing loudly in the shower, in the car, wherever, and I think I sound good. My boys have told me to stop singing before so I could be wrong.

I love Hymns. I enjoy so many of the current worship music of today, but there is nothing like the classic hymns I grew up with in Church.

Today's song is just that. A great hymn, Amazing Grace, who's lyrics say everything. My sister and I used to sing it a cappella at home. We sound good together :).
