I have found myself randomly breaking into tears over the past couple days (and this morning), as I think about the fact that I now have a First Grader. 1st - when did I become old enough for this to be true?! And 2nd - I am just in awe of his growth this past year. We were blessed with an awesome teacher who has an excellent gift for teaching Kindergarten. With Patrik, there is a mixture of emotions as we try to help him understand why he doesn't get to go to kindergarten next year with his friends. Mostly it is because of the birthday cut off in Eaton, but an extra year to work on his speech will be really good for him.
I also have been randomly crying while watching the Season Finales of my shows. Like Glee. I am a sap.
Today I am posting 2 videos. I could easily post more but I will limit myself to the 2. When I think about summer time, I think of so many wonderful memories made and waiting to be made. I am also more likely to have country or oldies on during this season as well. For me, these 2 genres of music make a fabulous summer soundtrack.
