Teachers

We said a lot of 'Good-Bye's' today. At least until we have a play date or school starts again. It was a crazy but fun time spent with my boys as they rounded out their 1st year of school.

Whew, it went by fast.

I am so glad that my boys had such fantastic teachers who loved on them and encouraged them to grow! Over the past weekend, the boys helped me make Thank-You gifts for these sweet ladies.

We started by going to Target to get flower pots, cards, and gift cards. The boys chose out the color of flower pot (both chose pink because their teachers were girls, they said) and the Thank You card. We also came across some cute decorative signs to include so we grabbed those too. They finished our outing by choosing flowers at Lowe's.

Once home, I used my measuring tape and a sharpie to draw a ruler along top ridge of the flower pots.

I then wrote, "Thank You For Helping Me Grow" on the side. The boys helped me put the flowers into the pots and water them. We added the sign they chose. Then the boys colored a picture in their card and wrote their names. 

Seeing the excitement on their faces as they delivered these gifts to their teachers was great! They have had an excellent year and we are thankful for Ms. Jaime and Mrs. Adams and their love of teaching!!
