TO/ANYA

Remember when you were younger; like middle school and high school younger? You have a problem or you were trying to fish for information from someone, so you would say, "I have this friend ... " You were really talking about yourself but saying these words magically made it about someone else (so I thought).

Well, I have this friend. Her name is Tanya.

And No. I am not talking about myself.

She really does exist. She is one my many BFF's; Beautiful Fabulous Friends. We have 'known' each other for a few years now, but it has only been in the past year or so that we have spent more time together and actually gotten to truly develop a friendship. Right off the bat, we discovered so much that we share in common.

We like to accredit these common things to our Awesome name, TO/ANYA. Ya, her name is spelled with an 'A', but I still love her all the same!!

One of the first memories I have of us spending time together was when we had a play date at Sanborn Park, along with her sister, Kathy (another of my BFF's). We were exchanging our phone numbers by calling each other. I honestly can't remember who called who, but her phone rang and this song started playing. I laughed. Not only because I too loved this song, but because I had just been planning to switch my ringtone to it as well!! It instead became her personal ringtone on my phone. :)
